Donna Krischan, a professional garden photographer whose images have appeared in numerous magazines, calendars, books and catalogs, will guide you through the process of creating beautiful images. She will share some of her slides and discuss the art of garden photography. The lecture includes the subject selection of lighting, sharpness/focus, and composition. You will leave this seminar with numerous tips on how to improve your own photography. Your photography questions are encouraged. |
Lecture #102: The Technique Of Garden PhotographyCome to the garden and learn how to improve your garden photos both technically and artistically. Discussions will focus on cameras, film, lenses and other accessories as well as the importance of light and composition. Donna will demonstrate a variety of photographic techniques. Your photography questions are encouraged.This is a hands-on workshop so be sure to bring your camera (SLR 35mm film camera, point & shoot camera, or digital camera), lenses and accessories. Dress appropriately for spending time outdoors. |
Lecture #103: Wisconsin Public GardensGo on a photo tour of several of Wisconsin's great Public Gardens - Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, the Rotary Gardens in Janesville and the Green Bay Botanic Garden.
