Dryopteris tokyoensis

6/24/2011 Dryopteris tokyoensis 13 inches tall. Clump 11 inches wide, measured at frond tips capturing maximum width of plant. Older fronds appear healthy and robust, no ill effects from previous tornado damage (21 June 2010) was observed. Much higher light conditions due to canopy reduction has not adversely effected fern growth. In fact, fern appears slightly taller. B41.
