
Bratwurst Pockets
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1-1/2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 small apple, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1 cup cooked bulk bratwurst
- 3 ounce shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
Saute onion in margarine. Reduce heat to low and add cabbage, apple and thyme. Cook about 5 minutes or until cabbage is crisp tender. Remove from heat. Add bratwurst, cheese and mustard. Serve in pita halves.
