
Candied Fruit Slices
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2-1/4 cups flour
- 2 cups candied fruit
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
Cream butter, egg, sugar & vanilla. Add flour. Knead in fruit and nuts. Roll into logs. Wrap in wax paper. Freeze for 3 hours. Slice. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 325 for 13-15 minutes.
