Cherry Chocolate Cookies
- 1 package white cake mix
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup cut up candied cherries
- chocolate stars
Combine cake mix, oil, extract and eggs. Stir just until thoroughly moistened. Stir in candied cherries. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased sheets. Bake at 375 for 6-8 minutes. Immediately top cookies with star, pressing down firmly. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheets.
